What they are saying...

YELP  Review  *   TEMPE, AZ     *   4/8/2016   "I met with Mary Beth a few weeks back for Reiki & energy work & my goodness, it was great! When I initially went in, I was a little skeptical. A friend referred me & I never expected to feel so great afterward.  First, I went in & we discussed what I wanted to get out of the session. She laid me down on a massage table in a relaxing room & walked me through what the chakras do. She explained how they all intertwine in the mind, body, & soul.  She made me feel comfortable & calm. It was nice to breathe & relax. What was great was that she didn't make me feel rushed or that our session was a business transaction. She genuinely cares if her clients leave in a better state than when they came in.  Mary Beth is very experienced & is flexible with my schedule. I will definitely be back & would refer her to anyone looking to take care of themselves.

Cindy D.  *    Substance Abuse Counselor  *   Chicago, IL.    Phone sessions for distance healing  2015:  "I have worked in the substance abuse field for about 27 years as an addictions counselor. I have experienced distance healing facilitated by Mary Beth and would like to thank you again, Mary Beth. It was awesome, and secondly, I would like to share a little about the experience. Mary Beth conducted a guided meditation infused with Reiki healing energy with me over the phone.

At that time, I was feeling very stuck emotionally. My partner had decided to end our relationship and to move out of the house. I was devastated and feeling very stuck in an emotional rut that I could not seem to get out of despite my efforts. Weeks and months went by, and I was still spinning like a wheel in a rut replaying the relationship in my head, fighting to let go and fighting to hold on at the same time. I had talked to Mary Beth, and she asked me if I was willing to try something different. At that point, I was willing to do anything to end the vicious cycle I was in.

Mary Beth talked me through a guided meditation, which helped me calm down and relax into a deeper state of being. As Mary Beth guided me, I made some internal shifts and got beneath the anger to release some of my feelings of sadness, feeling rejected, unloved, and abandoned. I was actually able to visualize a sludge-like substance exiting my body. At first, it felt weird, and I felt some fear, but that was momentary; I trusted that Mary Beth would guide me and be ok. In hindsight, I am sure what was being released were they feel repressed by me over the years as there was a pattern in my life that kept repeating. I was then able to visualize and feel the Reiki energy entering and traveling through my body in healing color and light. There was such a feeling of well-being and an inner knowing that all is well within and without (no pun intended).

I have participated in talk therapy at different times in my life. While that was good, I believe the body holds memories that the mind has repressed, denied, and/or forgotten. Reiki allows the body to talk and to access this stored information that can really accelerate healing. That is how it worked for me. I combined Reiki with more traditional therapy. I was amazed to see the relationship between psychological and emotional symptoms and how removing those emotional blockages has helped me feel more integrated and mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Mary Beth is very wise, caring, centered, and compassionate and is an excellent choice to facilitate your treatment and guide you on your healing journey.

Mary Beth is a joy to have as a professor. She taught my Intro to Human Services class while I studied at the College of DuPage. Not only was Mary Beth professional in the way she dressed and spoke to our class, but she added humor to her lectures. She also shared great examples from her life to add to the course material.
